CMOS settings

Hi,
When I start up my PC, I get the error messages:
CMOS settings wrong
Cmos memory size wrong
Press F1 to run setup

So I go through the process of correcting the clock and everything starts up
normally. But then the exact same thing happens the next time I start up my
PC.

Can anyone help?

Turn off the computer.
Open it up.
Find the battery on the mainboard.
Take it with you to a store to get a new one.
Bring it back home and install it.
Close the computer.
Turn on the computer.
Go into the BIOS and set it up.
