cmdMonitor Left/Right

I have seen a pop-up alert with no information and no
working link to any further information, which had
buttons for cmdMonitor Left and cmdMonitor Right. I have
no idea what this means or what is supposed to have been
detected. Anyone have any ideas?

This is one of those things where a picture would be useful. I suspect
that, rather than an alert, this is a control or window which is intended to
be hidden but which some software on your machine, or video size setting,
makes visible. We've had several examples of this kind in the course of the
beta, but I don't immediately recognize this one from your description.
