I was wondering if anyone else had an issue with the
cmd.exe process running in what seems to be a loop - it
displays various messages like 'successful flush of DNS
cache" and then blank, then it just keeps on running. I
can't seem to locate what process is causing it to run.
When I look into the event log, it seems like all the
services are failing at some point or another. But from an
outside view (using the system remotely) it works.
The 'client' side seems to be having trouble.... It makes
the web server and file directory sporadically
available... when it's not running I can access the web,
peruse file directory, make changes to my secured area
remotely, when it starts up it stops everything -
including the mouse! I've reloade the software, 'fixed'
the software from the C prompt - reinitialized all the
original files - I think it's some service that's
configured wrong, but am too new at this server stuff to
completely figure it out a little more quickly.
Many, Many thanks to anyone who might have some insight
into this issue...
