Hello,

I am looking for a full-screen version of cmd.exe for Win2K.

Anyone know of such a program,

Thanks,

JG

Hello John,

You can run the cmd.exe in Full screen mode. Open the cmd.exe, right click
the top of the window and open the properties.

Best regards

That won't work on my machine here, try this:
go back to properties, set window size and/or screen buffer to the size of
your screen ie. 1024x1280, 1600x1200 . . .

how about:
- open cmd.exe as normal
- hit (left)Alt + Enter

that should go to full screen, as well as same key-stroke brings it back to
a window

I almost had heart failure when the screen went black before putting up
the white letters!

Thanks,

That is not quite the same as being able to
resize the window on the desktop though so
that it can coexist with other windows and
be able to have any widthxheight in size.

However, your reply was useful,

Let me know if there is an app such that
I can resize the cmd.exe and still keep it
on the desktop like xterm on unix.

Thanks,

JG
