Can anyone point me to the hardware necessary to set up my own beowulf
cluster with XP machines?

The strict definition of "Beowulf Cluster" implies open source.

Beowulf Clusters are scalable performance clusters based on commodity
hardware, on a private system network, with open source software (Linux)
infrastructure.

Thanks. OK, to redefine the question, I am looking to use a pair of 2Ghz p4
running Windows XP. Is there a way to set these computers up to parallel
process graphics rendering for animation? Without changing OS's?

Dunno, what does the rendering software folks suggest? That is where you
have to start. If you are trying to do it with what you have laying
around, it's not going to be very effective. You would be better off
buying a dual-core CPU.

Thanks, Bob, I will start there. Still lloking for the hardware requirements
for clustering, just in case. Oh, I found an interesting article:

"LINKING BEOWULF CLUSTERS AND WINDOWS ENVIRONMENT USING
A MIDDLEWARE APPROACH
Suchin Phutthachartkul and Putchong Uthayopas"; "...In this paper, we
present a middleware called ACI, which act as a bridge between windows and
Beowulf cluster environment."
