In any SCSI chain shared buss configuration all devices must have different
IDs. If you have two controllers in the same computer the each of them will
have to have different I'ds as well.
Given one controller in each node of a cluster (example only)
Node A SCSI = ID 7
Node B SCSI = ID 6
Given two controllers in each node of a cluster (example only)
Node A SCSI(a) = ID 7
Node A SCSI(b) = ID 6
Node B SCSI(a) = ID 6
Node B SCSI(b) = ID 7
All hardrives in the chain require different IDs from each other and the
above (per channel). Drives on channel (a) & (b) would have 0 through 5 to
choose from respectively.

| I would like to setup a cluster system
| using following:
| -Advance Server (2-node)
| -SCSI-1 29160
| -SCSI-2 29160
| -EXTERNAL (homemade)SCSI HD (U160)for the quorum drive.
| Question is: Since the SCSI-1->Quarum->SCSI-2 connected as
| daisy chain. (two computers sharing the quorum drive). Do
| I need to configure SCSI-1, SCSI-2 and QUORUM drive to
| have a unique SCSI ID?
| Both controllers default to SCSI ID=7
| Any help will be greatly appreciated
