Cluster Size for disks and it's performance

I would like to know what should be the standard configuration of the cluster
size if the disk is formatted and volumes are created.

In my enviroment, i do have huge Tera bytes of data to be provided for user
profiles. This is occupying the "SIZE on disks" and do find a difference if
there are huge files copied resulting in huge space wasted on the partition.

Also, need to understand if there is in increase in cluster size or decrease
in cluster size, how does the performance affected on the host.

Appreciate your info

Thanks
Raj S

This question has nothing to do with programming Windows Forms. Ask in a
general Windows group.
