Internet Explorer keeps freezing up and then giving me an
error when I try to close out of a browser window. I can
go page to page just fine. Just getting the error when I
try hitting X on the window. I have tried looking up the
problem, but can't seem to find anything. I need some
help. This is really annoying.

Try repairing IE first. Select the Start/Settings/Control Panel/Add\Remove
Programes and select Internet Explorer 6. There will be an option there to
repair it.
If that doesn't fix it then you may have a faulty Browser Helper program
installed. Browser Helpers hook into your Browser when it starts and change
the behaviour of the Browser when events like navigating or closing a window
occur (most often used by Ad-ware to display a pop-up when these events
occur).
