closing pdf causes browser to freeze

I have a pdf on a website that launches in a new window.
I've had a few reports from IE 6 users with Adobe Reader
5.0 and Win NT as follows: When they close the window with
the pdf and then go back to the original browser window,
the browser encounters errors and shuts down.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi:

I have exactly the same problem, but have W98 and IE6. It crashes IE when I use the
"File/Close" to close the pdf viewer, but freezes it when all when I use the X in the top
right hand corner.

It would be nice if someone would find a fix for this!
