closing forms

have all my forms maximized thru a docmd.
when i close a form, there is a millisecond where the form drops down slightly before it closes and gets the next form
is there anyway, there can be a smooth transition as i close forms

Hi jn,
have you tried docmd.echo false then true either side of
the close action?
