Closing Forms

I have a Main Menu form which contain command buttons that open a further
menu form. However when I click on the command button to return to the Main
Menu the sub-menu form remains open but hidden behind the main menu. Is
there a way to get the command button to "Return to the main menu" and
"Close the sub menu" in one click?????

If you simply _close_ the submenu form, you will automatically return
to the form that opened it, unless you had activated yet another form
in the interim.
