Have recently installed Win XP and when using Exp 6 freqquently get the following:

Shut down initiated by NT Authority System
Remote procedure call terminated.

I anyone able to suggest what is going on, and how this enforced shutdown may be stopped?

Thank you

One point that is now important is to then activate the XP Firewall
*before* going on the net at all: At Control Panel - Network
Connections, r-click the connection used, Properties and check it on the
Advanced page. Otherwise you are likely to be hit by the MSBlast
worm within minutes of connecting.
</paste>

After activating the firewall, go to Windows Update before doing anything
else. After installing updates, make certain your virus definitions are
up-to-date and then run a full system scan.
