Closing Down IE 6.0 (my correct email address this time)

When closing down Internet Explorer 6.0 (Using Windows
Me), I am seeing an error EVERY time! The message is as
follows.

START OF ERROR MESSAGE

Microsoft Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and
needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

If you were in the middle of something, the information
you were working on might be lost.

(Tick box) Restart Microsoft Explorer.

Please tell Microsoft about this probem.

We have created an error report that you can send to help
us improve Microsoft Internet Explorer. We will treat this
report as confidential and anonymous.

To see what data this error report contains, click here.

Button "Send Error Report" Button "Don't Send"

END OF ERROR MESSAGE

I have sent the report to Microsoft on countless occasions
but have still not received a reply.

Anyone got any advice?

Do not discount that this error may be caused by a parasite.

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.

Have you run IE repair? Don't know what your operating system is, but
with Win98 IIRC it is accessed via Add\Remove (a third option should
appear once you click it, to repair).

You shouldn't have included your real email address.
