closed or strealthed port

Hey
I done a security scan with Norton and it stated that port 21 [FTP] was
open. Is there any way I can strealth the port or close it so my PC can be
safe from Hackers & intruders. help................
 
I went to the site and ran the Sheilds Up test It did find that port was open
great. I read everything I possible could find on how to stealthed a port. I
need step by step instructions on how to do this as all this PC lingo can
become confusing.
