close X button not closing

When I am viewing a website I cannot close the site. The
only function I am able to use is to minimize the window;
thus, removing it from my view but NOT closing the
window. Using the File/Close function does not do the job
either. What do I do to get my X button to close these
windows? Thanks.

Is it A particular Website? There is a javascript exploit that can cause
this behavior.

Check for viruses too.
