Hi everybody,
today, I spent my time installing Windows 2000 on my desktop computer.
After configuring Windows 2000, installing my applications, designing
my desktop the way I want it to be, sorting the Start Menu, configuring
Outlook 2002 an so on, I tried to clone my Administrator account, but I
failed. What I wanted to do is:
I would like to copy my Administrator account with all it's settings,
programs and so on to a new account. Afterwards, I would like to change
the account policy from 'Administator' to 'Power User'. The new account
should be the account to use for everyday work.
Is that possible in some way? I tried to, but it didn't work out the
way I wanted it to.
Crosspost to alt.os.windows2000, microsoft.public.win2000.group_policy,
microsoft.public.win2000.new_user, follow-up to alt.os.windows2000.
TIA,
Steffen
