I have a configuration that works fine and ends up booting into a command
prompt. I added the System Cloning Tool Component and now after the reseal
it boots up after the reseal and ends up just staying at a blue screen with
the version number stuff in white letters at the bottom right corner. I
tried changing the cmiRemoveAutoLogon to 'false' and it still does the same
thing. What should I look for to see why it doesn't work? Thanks!

Hi Larry,

You could try ...

Fbreseal -keepall to see if the results are different.

Also keep in mind that coming up after a reseal can take some time (can be
as long as 3 times the normal boot time) so if your on a slow system give it
a few minutes.

HTH,

Wow, you're right. It took almost 15 minutes and then it finally opened the
command prompt. There must be something that can be done to speed this up?
The next boot after that takes less than 2 minutes until the command prompt is
up.

Larry,

It's recreating the SID and setting computername, security, etc... so it can
take awhile although 15 mins is a long time. Is there an unusual amount of
network traffic happening on the primary interface? Also, whats the
hardware?

Brad

I'm not sure there's an unusual amount of network traffic. It's on a single
board computer which uses a Pentium III PGA370 and an M-Systems DiskOnChip 2000
(384MB)for the hard disk with 256MB of RAM.
