Hi,

I have successfully created a master image that will be cloned to build our
target systems. When cloning is done, I copy the master image to my
CompactFlash card and plug it into my target device, then power up to
complete the cloning process which results in a unique identifier. Can I use
this CompactFlash in any target device afterward (all target hardware is the
same model motherboard but of course, there is a different Ethernet MAC
address) or do I have to use this CF on the particular target device where
the cloning was completed?

Terry,

It should be no problem to move the disk to another identical system. You
may get a notification on first boot that Windows has finished installing
new hardware and a prompt to reboot. This will happen only on the first boot
for that physical machine.

HTH,
Brad
