My clock is always 10 minutes fast. I can reset it - but
the next time I turn on the computer it is 10 minutes
fast again. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Maddie.

If you are connected to a network, there might be a boot up or login script
that syncronized your clock with a network server. If it's off, yours will
be too. It doesn't matter how many times you change your clock, it will
change it to whatever the server is the next time you reboot/login.

If its not networked, possible that the battery on the motherboard is going bad and needs to be replaced.
