Hi,

When power is turned off, my computer clock sleeps until computer is turned
on. Computer clock is supposed to run every minute. How can I fix this
problem? craig

power only when you boot your PC. If your clock stops
running when PC is off very likely means your battery
needs replacing. The battery is about the size of a half
dollar on the mother board in most PCs. You can buy a
replacement at Radio Shack for about $5 and lasts from
two to about seven years.
