clock synchronization error joining domain

When I try to add my Vista computer to the college domain, I get an error
message:

The following error occurred attempting to join the domain "conncoll":

This server's clock is not synchronized with the primary domain controller's
clock.

I have checked all the clocks on all the domain servers and they agree with
the clock on this local machine.
What's happening?
 
not to state the obvious but the most likely problem is your timezones are
different. If the timezone is different but the stated time is the same,
then it's really off by one or more full hours. That will certainly keep
you from joining a domain.

That was one of the first things I checked, as well as Daylight Saving Time.
I have also looked at all the Kerberos settings in the default domain policy.
All are fine.

I just spent 6 1/2 hours on the phone with 3 Premier Support
engineers
working on the same problem today! They finally gave up,and
said they
will call me back on Tue.

I figured out how to fix the problem!

In AD Users & Computers, open the user account and then the Account tab. In
Account options, uncheck "Do not require Kerberos preauthentication"
