i have a xtasy 9600 non pro 256 meg version that i have been able to clock
up to 427/850 (effective)
i was wondering about what some of you have clocked your 9600 pro or non pro
up to

What's the default speeds on that non pro? My 9600 Pro, the memory is
300 MHz (600 DDR). Are you overclocking the memory by 125 MHz? (I have
no clue what they are)
I run mine conservatively at 450/320.

The non pro's run at 400/200(400 effective) and thats the only speed the
256MB version are available. I think Matthew may be getting mixed up with
the DDR settings, most likely its running at 425 DDR which would correspond
to a 212-213MHz memory speed. A DDR clock of 850Mhz would at least require
2.5ns ram which is highly unlikely on a 256MB card (there have been reports
that it's present on 128MB Gigacube cards though but thats not confirmed).

Cheers,
Brendan

Nice fake pics, I am using a Sapphire Atlantis 9600 Pro and the Memory Clock
slider only runs from 297.0 through 445 MHz.

um sorry there not fake
that is effective speed look again
that means combined speed
half that and that is speed

Does Rivatuner work with ATI cards?
From what I have read it is only for Nvidia cards!
Can I use it with my ATI radeon 9600 pro?

Thanks for any info.

RivaTuner has been fairly recently updated for ATI cards, I just used it
today to o/c my 9600 to 492/324, just below the 'safe' values mentioned on
most o/c-ing sites for this card. I will get dirty with it later.

Thanks to all for the info, will try it out today

First, this is a non-binary group. Posting pictures here isn't appropriate.

Second, even if the picture isn't a fake, it doesn't prove the card can run
at that speed.

Third, the math isn't right. 390x2=780mhz, not 850.5.

Either you are lying to us, or RivaTuner is lying to you. I'm leaning toward
the former at this point.

i dont know what is wrong with you people but you are just ****ing stupid
i try to get some positive feedback about what yall have clocked ur cards at
and i tell you my clock specs and you all call me a lier
i dont know where u get that from but its ****ed up
yall need to get ur shit straight cuz mine is and u just wont admit it
because u want to be right all the time

So your trying to say your default 200MHz ram has gone to 425MHz, or
210-215% of its initial value? Thats some super increase in transistor
switching speeds and cap cycles, all without going into unstable
oscillations? Wow you must have got a rare milspec card :)

I'm getting 450/875

I'm getting 450/875

How do you know this? What do you use to benchmark your video card?
I'm going to be swapping some cards around and I'd like to know so I
can compare numbers. Thanks ever so much for any info.

Gotta go,
Magwheelz

i use 3dmard 2001 se
it works better than 2003
