I had thought the clock in my Fujitsu Simens laptop was seeming to be
slow, but about a week after the warranty expired I thought of looking
at the 'clock hands' representation. The clock freezes momentarily
every fourth second and the every fifth second, then back ot every
fourth second and so on. I can lose fifteen minutes after an amount of
time. I've looked to see if a driver can be updated but apparently it
doesn' use a driver?
What could the problem be? Is it a fault with the clock chip
itself?
I have just installed some XP updates as well and now Internet
Explorer starts up automatically when I have switched on the computer.
How do I undo this? I thought of doing a system restore, but then the
updates will only load next time and I imagine the same change will
come about?
Thanks for any help.
