Before anyone replaces a battery for a problem with the clock
losing time, he should check to see whether he's losing time
while the computer is running or while powered off.

If he's losing time while powered off, the problem is very likely
the battery. But if it's while running, it can *not* be the
battery.

this is (e-mail address removed) the reason your clock can not keep
time is the battery is low mabey this could be the problem even if you fix
it if the battery is low it will never keep the right time ok jeff
