hey. I'm using vista beta 2 Bulid 5384. My first ever vista bulid, let alone
a beta/test verson of any OS, so its kind of exciting....

One feature i'd like to see to be put in the welcome screen is a clock.
There are some users that may not be loged in, and are at the welcome screen.
and a clock could benfiet for them.reason why is because if a clock were to
be put in the welcome screen people wouldnt have to log on and check,or go to
the other room,if their in a room with no wall/desk clock.

What are your comments about this?

The topic is "Clock in the welocme screen"

I've requested that this feature be added to Windows Vista however it looks
like it will not make it in time to be included with Windows Vista, however
there is the possibility that it could be seen in a later release.

Yeah, that whole Vista Clock thing strikes me as a pointless gimmick.
Especially when it's not a good clock design anyway, the hour and
minute-hands are too similar, making it very easy to misread.

The purpose of the clock in the sidebar is to help admins identify novices.
