When I try to run stinger program, clnwin32.dll was not found comes on screen. How can I fix this problem? I am running windows xp media center

It's not a 'problem' if you do not use any Novell products.

I to do not have clnwin32.dll on my PC but the last time I ran Stinger was on someone elses PC.

What's the problem?

no problem really. if I click ok. i can then run the program. the only thing is when the program asks me if I want to sve findings there is no such file that they desinate. how would I find if there were any virus or worms

If it finds anything, it'll tell you ... if not, it just finishes.

Stinger is fine, just to have a quick check of some known nasties, I see not much has been added in 2006 ... an on-line scan can be a lot more in-depth.

If you don't trust your AV program, get one you do trust ... they still will only be as good as to the nasties they know about. Worms & Trojans are more common than any virus and some of the 'malware' is even worse.
