Hi
I am a total novice at Windows Movie Maker. I have managed to import
all my clips into WMM, but I notice some of them are upside down. So
when I put them in collection they are played upside down.
Sorry if this is a really stupid question .....but thanks for any
insight
===============================
You can rotate the clips using the Rotate
180 Video Effect. Just drag/drop it on the
upside down clips.
That may be an indication that the clips
are not fully compatible with Movie Maker.

It's also possible that you need to update
your Video Driver. Try reducing your Graphics
Hardware Acceleration as per the instructions
in the following article.

Graphics Issues

(scroll down to:
Microsoft Windows 2000 and Windows XP)
If it improves the issue, you need to search the
support website of your Video adapter's mfg. for
an updated video driver.
