I uploaded some videos from my Sony CDR-SR42 camcorder and I imported them
onto Windows Movie Maker. When I add them to the timeline and I click on one
of the clips and press the play button it refuses to play. At times, it says
that it is playing and it shows the seconds passing by but there is just a
black screen with no audio. Eventually, the program would freeze and shut
down.
I took some videos on another camera of mine and imported them into Windows
Movie Maker and they work perfectly fine. There are no problems with the
clips I acquire from the camera.
I am wondering if there is something wrong with Windows Movie Maker or the
camcorder.
