Clipping of the memo field in exported txt file

I hope someone will shed light on this: I export a report to txt file using Output To method in Access 2000. One field is of memo type, quite long. The report looks fine, but in the resulting txt file the text is incomplete. I tried to vary the length, removed some lines, but clipping still occur, sometimes in different places, in the middle of the line or after. Same happens with rtf file as well.

Hi,
Many have had the identical problem. Check Knowledge
Base item 288877
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-
us;288877&Product=acc97. This is a very vexing problem
with no fix to date. I worked around it by using Word
Merge; this keeps the memo fields complete. If you
search "memo field truncation" you'll find more discussion
and ideas.

Sorry to disappoint. Maybe someone else has had a
breakthrough on this issue.
