ClipArt hangs Powerpoint & Word

When trying to add Clip art in Word and Powerpoint it
hangs the computer. I never receive a error message when
this happens, I end up having to end task to close the
program. I am running Windows XP with Office XP Pro fully
updated with all updates.

Please help!

It's common problem.

Clip Organizer has never worked for me in Office XP Pro with FrontPage (and
Publisher) on Windows 2000. This despite several disk reformats and systems
rebuilds.

Fortunately, I have the three-CD standalone edition of PhotoDraw with one
whole CD full of clipart. My workaround is to find a clip in PhotoDraw, copy
it to the clipboard, and paste it into an Office XP application, such as
PPT.

IMO, Clip Organizer for XP was released long before it was ready for prime
time.
