clip art won't print in a word document

i have downloaded an image from microsoft, and put it in my word document,
but when i try to print, only the text is printed. it does'nt show in the
print preview, either. i have set the clip art underneath my text, as a
background. Can anyone help?
 
Tools, Options, Print tab, check INCLUDE Drawing Objects.
