I know there has to be a way because personnel from Border Patrol are doing
it, also in microsoft office online it tells you under wrapping text around
clipart that the general task done in word can also be performed in Excel and
PowerPoint, so my question is how is it done?

Cheryl,

I'm pretty sure that powerpoint does not have the ability to wrap text
around clipart.

You can however, have powerpoint fill an 'autoshape' with text (ie. a
circle)

As TAJ says, PPT doesn't have the ability to wrap text around clipart or
pictures.

You can use individual textboxes, or you can use Shift+Enter to create
appropriate line breaks.

You can also use tabs to create space, if you wanted to create space for a
photo in the middle of some text, for example.

I'd really like to get that topic corrected. Could you give me a link to the
Office Online article you read?

Ah, I found the article.

It's wrong. I'll report it.

I find it ridiculous that PP can not wrap text, this is such a simple and
useful feature. Is there any chance of an upgrade?

What do you mean, "wrap text"?

PPT can wrap text in a textbox.

Or are you talking about wrapping text around a shape?

I believe that letting text wrap about clip art or a picture in Power Point
is definitely something that Microsoft needs to fix for any future upgrades!
I have recently upgraded to Office 2007 and was hoping to see that fix
already. If they can do it in Word and Publisher, why not in Power Point??

Maybe in the 2013 version?
