clients not loggin on

I have two server that are both domain controllers. One server keeps breaking
the raid array. When I reboot it into the raid bios to fix the array. The
other server is still online but nobody can login. I thought that dc's were
at the same level not like nt 4.0 bdc/pdc. Anyways any help would be much
appreciated

Does this second dc happen to be a global catalog server? It doesn't sound
like it is.
