Clients get disconnected from server on occasion. Have to clickconnection status icon at the bottom

Some users drop their connection to my Win2K3 server so that i have
to click the connection icon in the lower right corner to
reconnect.Also, log off, and log back in reconnects as well. I have
two servers, the win 2k3 is the DC, and I have a Win2K that they never
lose connection to, even when they are not connected to the Win2K3
server. This does not happen with all users it seems.

Shares, and printers are not accesible until they reconnect, so this
issue is a bother. I thought this was a licensing issue, and that
there was not enough CALs for all users. Could this be?

Please help!

Check the following:

Do "Net sessons" at a server commandprompt, to see if clients are using
doubled-up licences.

Check the LAN card settings for a (faulty) powersave option.

Check the server's disconenct-timeout.
