Why do I get a clicking sound every time I click onto a new web page and how
can I get rid of it? Thanks.

The sound you are hearing is probably IE's pop up blocker doing its job. You can turn this off in
the Internet Options or in the Pop-Up Blocker settings.

Use Firefox. Free at www.mozilla.com Not only does it not click, it's a
much safer browser than Internet Explorer.

Open Sounds and Audio Device Properties in Control Panel.

On the Sounds tab scroll down to the Windows Explorer section and change
"Start Navigation" to none.

Its a windows system sound. FF clicks if the sound is turned on...and FF,
especially 1.5, hogs memory so make sure you have 10GB RAM.

Will do little man....guess you dont know nada either....

when last you read the mozilla forums about all the memory crap etc..not to
mention the zillion other problems
take your senseless suggestion elsewhere

I won't try to convert you to anything but I
will give you an answer..

It is a system sound.. you must disabe it in
"control panel" / "sound and audio devices" / "sounds"
Choose theme no sound or edit manually..
