The problem:
Windows XP SP2 system
If I am in a folder and click on "Sharing and Security..." I get a crash message indicating Explorer has crashed. If I choose to send an error report it seems to indicate the problem is within:
sfsshell.dll
But, I could be wrong. It is just that is the only file mentioned on that screen.
If, however, I open My Computer, and click on :Sharing and Security..." for the C drive, it opens fine. I can click options and whatnot. I could, in theory, permit my entire drive to be shared freely by clicking on the options I want there, and applying them to all sub directories.
For obvious reasons, that is not a solution. I need, rather, to fis to underlying problem. Can anyone point me in a direction to possibly fix my sharing and security tab crashes?
Thanks!
