Clicking down arrow on address (URL) line locks computer momentari

Each time I begin a new session of IE 6, the computer locks up for about 30
to 60 seconds when I click on the down arrow (on the right side of the URL
line) to view the list of URL's. Then it starts working normally again --
including the pull down list of URL's.

Try clearing your TIF's and see if that helps:
