clicked on true color and now i have no screen

help....my desk top was up and i right clicked and
clicked on a 2 dropdown box to "true color". then
everything went blank.
the green button on the monitor now wants to stay orange.
my computer power light blinks orange then goes out. what
in the heck did i do and how do i fix it
 
Hi,
Have you tried booting into safe mode? Try tapping f8 when
you switch on and enter safe mode. When in safe use system
restore and this should help
