After i uninstalled Firefox Iam having a problem with clickable links in
somewebpages and MS Outlook. I had this same problem a couple of years ago
but I don't remember what it was I did to fix it exactly. The best I remember
I ran
regsrv32.dll (I think) but as I said I'm not sure . Anyboby have a
suggestion ??

I am using IE 6 and it is my default browser, let me be a little clearer. I
cannot use clickable links from email messages inside of MS Outlook
I am running Win 2K pro

From http://www.fjsmjs.com/OE/nolinks.htm

Open Windows Explorer.
Go to Tools | Folder Options | File Types.
Scroll down to URL:HyperText Transfer Protocol and select it.
Click Edit or Advanced, depending on your Windows version.
Select 'open'.
Click Edit.

"Application used to perform this action" should read:

"C:\PROGRAM FILES\INTERNET EXPLORER\iexplore.exe" -nohome
(Check the path to iexplore.exe to make sure that is correct and use the
double quotes.)

DDE should be checked and in the boxes below it you should have:

#1:
"%1",,-1,0,,,,
#2
IExplore
#3 (blank)

#4
WWW_OpenURL

URL:HyperText Transfer Protocol with Privacy should be the same.

Sometimes it is necessary to uncheck Use DDE.

If that doesn't fix it, go to Start | Run and type

regsvr32 urlmon.dll

Bad news the URL:HTTP file type doesn't show up at all. the only one that is
there
URL" internet shortcut"
The regsvr32 didn't work either.

Sorry I didn't mean to upset you, but that did the trick.I was, as you know,
looking in the wrong place thanks again

i have tried to run the regsrv32 function and my machine says it cant find it.
I have to keep refreshing atleast three or four times to getr pages all loaded
