Click HP DLA, click Remove, and then follow the
instructions on your screen to remove the software.

My system doen't have that software yet WMM refuses to
use or recognise either of the burners I have. So... NOW
WHAT!?

Hi --

MM2.0 uses the Shell interfaces for driving CD burning, so the first thing
to do is to confirm that you can burn CDs via the shell. If you can't use
the shell interface, then MM isn't going to work either. :(

First, confirm you have a device that you can burn to:
1. Launch explorer.exe
2. Right-click on the drive you wish to check (Like "D:")
3. Choose "Properties"
4. Choose "Recording" TAB <-- If you don't have a "recording" tab, then
the OS doesn't think that drive has burning capabilities, and you should
contact the device manufacturer for more details
5. Confirm that the "Enable CD recording on this drive" checkbox is
CHECKED.
6. Choose "OK"

Now, confirm you can burn a CD via the shell. (These steps assume your drive
is "D:" -- substitute your drive letter as appropriate.):

1. Navigate to a file you wish to burn to CD. (I'd recommend something
with a small filesize.)
2. Right-click on the file, and choose "Send to" | "CD-RW Drive (D:)"
3. Launch "explorer.exe" and navigate to "D:".
--> You should see your file sitting in the "Files ready to be
written to the CD" window.
4. Choose "Write these files to CD" from the task pane
5. Complete the wizard to burn the disc.

Let me know if any of this is useful...
