How can I recover e-mail messages that have been deleted
from the 'deleted items' folder? I do not have a Microsoft
Exchange server so cannot do it through the tools menu.
Please help, this is very important!

You can try to restore your items by following a guide
which is on my site www.sparnaaij.net in the How To
section.

When you haven't closed and opened Outlook in between
you'll have the best results. If you have restarted
Outlook in between the results are unpredictable.

If the items aren't restored at the first attempt you
could try again and delete more or other characters at
the beginning but I don't think it will work.

The best way is to install the pst back-up add-in from
Microsoft or download my script from the download
section; preventing is better the curing.

Hope this helps!

I think I have a way, but you have to do it quickly, before there's much
more activity on the computer.

Go to www.whitecanyon.com. There you can get "Secureclean." I can't
remember if it was a free trial download, or if I had to buy it.

Once installed, you can scan you drive for, among other things, "deleted
emails."

Upon reading your post, I tried scanning my drive, and was able to find an
email that I just from my Outlook permanently.

I think you'd better do it quickly, because the more you use your computer,
the more likely that the deleted email will be overwritten, and lost
forever. But if you do this right away, you stand a good chance of
recovering it. (If recovering the deleted email is important enough to you,
STOP using the computer for anything else, because the more you use it, the
less likely Secureclean will be able to recover it.)

Let me know how you make out!

Hope this helps.
