Has anyone had experience with this program offered by MS? How does it
work, and does it enhance letters on the screen generated by word
processors such as WordPerfect?
Thanks

It enhances the display. "The display" - not individual applications.
Works better on LCDs that are not running at their native resolution than
anything else.

I use it on my LCD. (My understanding is it's not applicable to
CRTs.) I found it significantly reduced the color fringes I see on
letters.

And yes, it should affect all programs that use the operating system
functions to paint fonts on screen. That's virtually all of them, as
far as I know.

Good program. Initially designed to enhance the text on lcd displays,
however before I had my lcd I also used it on my crt and found improvement
there also.

Certainly can't hurt to try it...
