Clearing the Clipboard

Is there any way that I can clear the clipboard? I copied
and pasted some text. Then I copied some different text,
and it keeps pasting the first thing that I copied this
evening. How Can I fix this?

Said should not happen, a new 'copy' should overwrite the old !

However, the clipboard program is located at;
C:\WINDOWS\system32\clipbrd.exe

If you run said program, it has an 'Edit' menu option to 'Delete'
(suggest creating a 'Desktop' shortcut to the Clipboard program)
