clearing recently saved files

how do i clear recently saved files from the drop down
list in the save as tab. I also have a similar problem
with windows media player and recently opened files in
the drop down menu on the open tab. i would appreciate
any help you could give. Thanks.
 
Turn off the Most Recently Used list...
In Media Player 9 Series
--Tools
--Options
--Privacy tab
--history section (bottom of window)
make desired changes
exit with apply/ok
