I can't seem to clear all of my history in IE 6.0...some
sites still appearing in address bar even after deleting
cookies, off-line content, and history. Anybody got any
ideas?

Try:
1. With no IE windows open, clear the History from Control Panel> Internet
Options> General

2. Go to http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/download.htm and download
DelTypedURL.inf
Or
The manual method of clearing the TypedURLs key in the registry:
157729 - How to Clear the History Entries in Internet Explorer:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q157729

3. You may have a damaged History folder.
Free History Eraser from
http://smartprotector.com/eraser/free-history-eraser.htm will delete the
History folder and a new one will be created when you restart.
Or the History folder can be deleted manually:
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm

Hope this helps,
Don

Don,
FYI: the download page no longer exists ...........
However "DelTypedURL.inf" exists on the delcache page.

How about DelSearchMRU.inf?

Hi Frank,
Yes that inf still exists on my site .......
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/DelSearchMRU.inf

FYI: All of those inf files are still there ... there just wasn't much
traffic
on that page, so I "unlinked" (is that a word ;) from my site ...
