john

i cannot clear my individual autocomplete listings. For
instance i when i type an "e" in my address bar many
options pop up that all begin with "e". i would like to
delete these. if you have a solution or a hint it would
be appreciated. or if you know how to restore the
defaults of the program that may help as well

Have you tried IE-Tools-Internet Options-Content-AutoComplete?
You can also delete individual ones when they drop down by moving the
highlight to the one you don't want and pressing Delete.

In microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6.browser, "john"

John, have you tried this??

This is for Internet Explorer:

1.On the Tools menu in Internet Explorer, click Internet
Options.
2.Click the General tab.
3.Under History, click Clear History.

If you are talking about other autocomplete, where you
have perhaps made a spelling mistake, click the item and
then pressing the DELETE key. It doesn't appear to work
with Internet explorer though...

hope this helps
Shaz
