Hi,

I support a number of clients who've given me a similar request, mainly
using XP.

Is there a tool (preferably free) that can delete their recent files
history, Internet Explorer History, preferably each time they log off?

Some of these users are on PCs with many users, so it needs to be on a per
user basis.

Any help much appreciated.

Cheers

I use the TweakUI utilities version 1.33, for Windows 2000. There is a
tab called "Paranoia", which offers to cover your tracks. In
particular, these two options:

Clear Document history at logon
Clear Internet Explorer history at logon

There is a newer version for XP only but I don't know if it has the
"Paranoia" tab.

Thanks for your help Steven - I used to use the old TweakUI as well, but
thought Paranoia wasn't in the XP version. Apparently it's there somewhere,
but not quite with as much functionality. I'll look into it further.

Cheers again
