clear ei search list

can anyone tell me how to disable the function that
stores every last word you have used to search and
displays this list everytime you type a letter into your
search box? Thanks for your help, Joia
 
Go into your help and support in the control panel and do
a search for auto complete and start reading. There are
about 6 different settings that will need to be changed to
turn off all the history and autocomplete stuff and some
of them require you to edit the registry. The help and
support center is a good start for more advanced changes
e:mail me or do some internet searching on Bags and BagMRU
and so on. Keep smiling.
 
in search/find window

on left column pick "more advanced options"

slide down to "change preferences"

pick "turn autocomplete off"
