clear drop down box in windows run command drop down list

Hi Andy,

To clear just this area, start/run regedit, navigate to this key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\RunMRU

And selectively delete the strings from the right-pane that contain the load
entries you wish to get rid of. There are other means of clearing this box,
such as the clear recent button, but these will erase several of your
dropdown boxes.

Settings/Taskbar and Start menu/Start Menu tab, click customize.
