CLEAR Bacground on desktop fonts

I do not know what I did, but my lettering underneath the fonts on the
desktop have a color (Blue). I would like to go back to what I had, which
was clear and transparent.

If you have enabled any Active Desktop content, this will happen. Display properties, Desktop, Customize Desktop, Web tab.

You can also right click My Computer, select Properties, Advanced, Performance. Ensure that Use drop shadows for icon lables on the desktop is checked.
